VAEAI is looking to learn more about the school experiences of young Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students that identify as LGBTQIA+, which is why we have created a Schools Koorie LGBTQIA+ Survey. The insights from this survey will help inform about the current school experiences of students across Victoria, and advise us on the work we should be doing to best advocate for you. At VAEAI we want all Koorie students to achieve their best in an environment that is not just safe and inclusive for them, but supportive and celebrative of them.

This survey is open to all current Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQIA+ students and recent school leavers up to the age of 25.

Please note the use of the word Koorie in this survey is to reflect the Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander experience in Victoria, but is not used to exclude the experiences of people who may belong to other states and not identify as Koorie.

This survey is anonymous, however at the end of the survey there is an option to provide some details if you would like to be included in future consultations.
