The VAEAI Secretariat 

The Secretariat is the working arm of VAEAI and works to the direction of the VAEAI Committee of Management.

The Secretariat role includes:

• Support ot LAEGCs,
  
  
• Preparation of documentation as directed by the VAEAI COM,
  
  
• Project and strategy development as directed by the VAEAI COM,
  
  
• Monitoring of Policy and Strategy implementation,
  
  
• Liason with Government Departments and their officials, and
  
  
• Program reporting to Government Departments.

The Secretariat staff are involved in the day to day functions of the VAEAI office.
