The Koorie Perspectives in Curriculum Bulletin is a regular publication produced by VAEAI focused on Victorian Aboriginal Perspectives in the curriculum. Drawn from the VAEAI Education Calendar and aligned to the Victorian Curriculum F-10, the Koorie Perspectives in Curriculum Bulletin features curriculum news and links, background information on topics, a range of online education resources and suggested classroom activities. The May-June bulletin celebrates this year being the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Referendum, which saw over 90% of Australian voters choosing to count count Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the census and give the Australian Government the power to make laws for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. There are two other key dates that feature with this bulletin: National Reconciliation Week and Mabo Day.
